Bowler
This colossal azure individual relishes in the uncomplicated pleasures of existence – quaffing Dark Elixir concoctions and hurling rocks. His mammoth boulders ricochet off their intendeds and strike again from the rear, causing a dual blow!

Bowler Summary
- The Bowler troop utilizes a massive boulder that bounces to inflict splash damage upon impact and landing. This powerful troop becomes available upon unlocking the Dark Barracks at level 7, which is only accessible at Town Hall level 10.
- The Bowler is the first ground troop unlocked that can damage multiple buildings in a straight line.
- The boulder of the bowler has a restricted trajectory, and it will strike only two designated targets.
- When Bowlers launch an attack, they do not have a particular building in mind to target. They simply go for the nearest one. However, if they come across Clan Castle troops, Heroes, or Skeleton Trap skeletons from the enemy side, whether as a result of being attacked or by being in proximity to another friendly troop under attack, they will abandon their current objective and engage the enemy troops, only after defeating all the enemy troops in the area will the Bowlers resume attacking the closest structure.
Strategy
Offensive
- The Bowler doesn’t have a lot of hit points, so it can be easily destroyed when not protected. Be sure it is behind tanks like Golems, Ice Golems, or P.E.K.K.As.
- Using many Bowlers can be a very strong strategy, as they can take out multiple buildings quickly.
- The Bowler trumps Wizards for funneling thanks to its ability to strike two structures with a single attack. It’s an exceptional unit for funneling that should not be overlooked.
- The Bowler has the ability to precisely attack structures positioned at the perimeter of a base, including those like the Wizard or Bomb Tower, without incurring any damage during its second bounce.
- The most common strategy that includes Bowlers is BoWitch, a TH10 and 11 attack strategy that uses Bowlers and Witches together in great synergy.
Defensive
- The Eagle Artillery can deal significant damage to a group of Bowlers with just two shots.
- It is important to note that Bowlers have significantly low hitpoints for their housing space. To effectively counter groups of Bowlers in Bowler-heavy areas, it is recommended to place 2 Giant Bombs together, as this will effectively wipe them out.
- Ensure your defenses are spread out to effectively prevent Bowlers from hitting all of them simultaneously.
- Ensure the isolation of your Town Hall from other buildings to prevent Bowlers from hitting it with their boulder’s second bounces.
upgrade difference
- Upon initial observation, the Bowler presents as a commanding, indigo-colored humanoid possessing well-defined musculature, pointed ears, and piercing scarlet eyes. With a loincloth secured by a rope around his waist, he brandishes a hefty boulder resembling a bowling ball. His extremities bear a striking resemblance to those of a Giant, and he dons a pair of yellow bands on each of his arms.
- At level 3, it is imperative to note that the Bowler’s boulder acquires pink, Elixir-colored crystals protruding from it, just like the level 5 Golem. Moreover, the Bowler himself undergoes a slight darkening.
- At level 4, the boulder’s crystals turn reddish-orange.
- At level 5, it is imperative that the crystals on the boulder are turned sky blue to match the winter theme. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in negative consequences.
- The crystals of the boulder transform into an emerald green color at level 6, aligning with the jungle theme.
